ย Context Under the overall supervision of the Head of Programmes and the direct supervision of the National Project Officer, the Project Assistant (M&E and Data Management) is responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
1.ย ย ย ย Support the coordination, which includes analysis plan design, questionnaire proposal, interviewer training, data cleaning and report products;
2.ย ย ย ย Enhance and implements the existing information management strategy to ensure accurate and appropriate data (population figures, activities implemented by partners, etc.) collected, stored, analyzed, and shared in a timely manner;
3.ย ย ย ย Provide data analysis for operational decision-making and the elaboration/update of strategic documents;
4.ย ย ย ย Produce and update Information Management products such as reports, charts, interactive maps, and infographics by turning data into graphical products to convey messages and a storyline;
5.ย ย ย ย Support research, assessment and needs analysis activities, including humanitarian needs overviews, secondary data reviews, preliminary scenario definitions and multi-sector assessments/Provide advice on assessment design to ensure data quality, provide support with the design and development of surveys;
6.ย ย ย ย Adhere to IOM data protection policy, data governance standard, data security standard, ICT standard, and consider best practices and lessons learned on ethical data collection, data sharing and dissemination;
7.ย ย ย ย Performs any other duties as required.

Education
- University degree in information technology, data science, computer sciences, statistics, demography, social sciences or any other related field, statistics, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with minimum two years of relevant professional experience. โข Experience with data management and data analysis to support policy formulation and implementation;
Languages
โข Experience with handling confidential data and demonstrated understanding of different data collection methodologies;
โข Ability to formulate questionnaires and data collection tools. Knowledge in program planning and implementation of objectives;
โข Experience in developing and implementing visualization reports/dashboard with Bi Software. A good command of Excel is required;
โข Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to prepare clear and concise products.
