Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship
The position of Project Analyst is assigned to the Water and Urban Sector Office (WUD) within the Sectors Department 2 (SD2). You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.
You will report to designated International Staff and officer (as applicable).
Your Role
As a Project Analyst, you will provide analytical and statistical support to the assigned project portfolio, including technical support in portfolio management, project administration, and project processing activities related to loans and TA, knowledge work, and budget management activities for water and urban development (WUD) sector.
You will:
- Support project administration of investment projects, programs, TA projects, and sector work and activities, focusing on the WUD Sector.
Qualifications
You will need:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, engineering, or a related field. At least 5 years of relevant work experience. In-depth knowledge of ADB or similar multilateral development bank's operations, business processes, procedures, modalities, and workflows. Experience undertaking research and analysis, collect and organize data, and draft documents. Proficiency in productivity tools and software programs. Experience collaborating with diverse background and nationality. Experience building relationships and communicating in multicultural settings. Written and verbal proficiency in English. This appointment is open to internal and external applicants.
This is a fixed-term appointment for an initial fixed period of 3 years. At the end of the initial period, this appointment may, at the option of ADB, be extended once for up to 2 years, converted to a regular appointment, or ended on its expiration date. This decision will be made in the overall interest of ADB that: (a) it will require Staff's particular blend of skills and experience in the foreseeable future; and (b) Staff's performance is satisfactory and they are suitable for further employment.
