Oversee GEF-funded environmental initiatives in Latin America & Southern Africa, incl biodiversity, safeguards, & gender inclusion. Advise govts on GEF projects, ensuring Free, Prior, & Informed Consent for indigenous communities. Manage budgets, stakeholder engagement & sustainability initiatives. Masterโ€™s in International Relations, Environmental Policy or related field & 2yrs exp working for large international conservation NGO, designing, implementing & evaluating GEF projects. Exp providing technical advice to national govts on developing GEF funding proposal & experience designing Stakeholder Engagement Plans & Gender Action Plans req.
