SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

The Ford Foundationโ€™s U.S. Program in Civic Engagement and Government (CEG) seeks a collaborative, strategic, team-oriented Program Associate to support a team of program staff who are working toward a shared goal of increased representation and participation in the democratic systems in the US. Reporting to the Director of CEG, the Program Associate will hold a variety of responsibilities related to the research, analysis and coordination of programmatic activities and also serve as a strong conduit for shared learning within the team and across programmatic teams. Program Associates must work well in diverse, fast-paced environments and bring a problem-solving orientation to their work and the team.

An ideal candidate will be curious about the intersections of structural democracy reform, the value and impact of government in protecting rights and providing public goods, and, most importantly, the representative and reflective constituencies and communities that must set, lead, and implement public policy agendas.
