Work LocationFlexible Expected duration25Nov2025-24Jan2026 Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnder the overall guidance of the Chief, Capacity Building and Partnerships Section of the Strategy and the Programme Management Division and the direct supervision of the Partnerships Officer, the Consultant is to work in advancing resource mobilization efforts and South-South cooperation portfolio of the secretariat. In particular, the Consultant will: 1. Develop materials for resource mobilization tailored for outreach to non-traditional donors such as foundations and private sector; 2. Support organization of annual consultations with traditional donors; 3. Support coordinated and effective implementation of the decisions of the sixth Asia-Pacific Directors General Forum for South-South and Triangular Cooperation; 4. Support conceptualization and organization of other South-South cooperation activities as required; 5. Support the conceptualization and organization of the seventh session of the Asia-Pacific Directors General Forum for South-South and Triangular Cooperation, including substantive and communications preparations; 6. Collect and analyze project and partnerships data for 2024 in preparation for the 2024-2025 Technical Cooperation Highlights publication; 7. Support conceptualization and drafting of the 2024-2025 Technical Cooperation Highlights publication; 8. Support organization of the launch of the 2024-2025 Technical Cooperation Highlights publication during the 82nd Commission session; 9. Review processes related to partnership arrangements and propose actions for streamlining and efficiency gains; 10. Support updating and maintenance of SPMD Gateway and other CPS-related reference and communication materials, including original content creation; 11. Support the conceptualization and organization of the High-Level Conference of Middle-Income Countries (MICs) Plus Deliverable 1: Delivery of RBM E-learning Modules*** The consultant may work remotely and attend in-person at the duty station upon request.
