About this position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated professional to support the management of grants and externally financed projects within the IDB Group. As part of the Grants and Cofinancing Management Unit (GCM) in the Office of Outreach and Partnerships (ORP), you will play a crucial role in linking partner resources to IDB projects, knowledge products, and programs that address the needs of Latin America and the Caribbean. GCM's core responsibilities include managing partner resources, ensuring compliance with donor agreements and IDB policies, and reporting to partners.
You will work with the Grants and Cofinancing Management Unit part of the Office of Outreach and Partnerships. This team serves as an accountable interface that links partners resources to IDB projects, knowledge products, and programs that meet the needs of Latin America and the Caribbean through close coordination with IDBGโs operational units and the Resource Mobilization Division. The GCM key functional areas include managing partner resources, ensuring compliance with donor agreements and IDB policies, as well as reporting back to partners.
What youโll do
Coordinate the registration, certification, and approval of new operations within the corporate systems (e.g., Convergence, SAP), ensuring compliance with Bank policies and procedures. Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness in processing all Technical Cooperations (TCs), Investment Grants, and other instruments finance with donor resources within the IDB Group. Perform quality assurance checks on approved and registered operations to ensure data accuracy and integrity across corporate databases. Identify, retrieve, and analyze data on various dimensions of technical cooperation operations by country, fund, and sector. Compare budgetary estimates with project reports, monitor project requirements, and ensure completion of project reports. Design, implement, and analyze client satisfaction surveys to identify areas for improvement, and present findings in well-organized reports. Participate in COSO compliance audits and provide additional information as needed to stakeholders. Assist fund coordinators in the administration and management of resources by providing guidance on compliance with donor agreements, tracking fund disbursements, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of fund usage. Support Bank's systems development and enhancements by participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that new features and updates meet the operational needs and compliance standards. Maintain up-to-date filing systems and create system maintenance requests in collaboration with the IT group. Prepare presentations for stakeholders as required.What you'll need
