The position of Operations Officer (Fragility and Engagement) is assigned to the Fragility and Engagement Division within the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Department (CCSD). CCSD leads thematic operations, knowledge innovation, and partnerships. You will be based at our headquarters in Manila, Philippines.You will report to Unit Head, NGO and Civil Society Center (NGOC), CCFE, and actively support the entire division.
Your Role
As Operations Officer (Fragility and Engagement), you will support NGOC in its implementation of ADB's Civil Society Approach and also serve as a division focal for data management, responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of key indicators to support the division's units and teams. You will draw on both internal and external data sources and support the establishment and strengthening of CCFE's centralized data system.
You will:
- Support NGOC and the implementation of ADB's Civil Society Approach, providing analytical and technical support to the team and division.
Qualifications
You will need:
Bachelor's degree in data science, database management, statistics, business administration, or relevant fields preferably with advanced training. At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in database development, statistics and data analysis, results monitoring and similar roles. Ability to oversee CCFE's data architecture and troubleshoot technical issues with it. Experience in translating data results into applicable knowledge products for non-technical users. Written and verbal proficiency in English. Strong team collaboration capabilities. Please refer to the link for ADB Competency Framework for TL5.

Additional Information
This appointment is open to internal and external applicants.
This is a fixed-term appointment for an initial fixed period of 3 years. At the end of the initial period, this appointment may, at the option of ADB, be extended once for up to 2 years, converted to a regular appointment, or ended on its expiration date. This decision will be made in the overall interest of ADB that: (a) it will require Staff's particular blend of skills and experience in the foreseeable future; and (b) Staff's performance is satisfactory and they are suitable for further employment.
