The Operations Associate (GS-6) plays a critical role in supporting the effective and compliant delivery of UNICEFโs operational services. Reporting to the Deputy Representative for Operations (P-5) at the Country Office (CO), the Operations Associate (GS-6) provides high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Deputy Representative as well as to Unit Heads within the Operations section. The incumbent plays a key role in enhancing service delivery by supporting operational processes.

Minimum requirements:
Education:ย Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the field of work. Work Experience:ย A minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible administrative, secretarial, or clerical work experience. Three (3) years and an additional two (2) years of experience may be substituted for candidates holding a Bachelorโs and Masterโs degree, respectively. Experience supporting large-scale projects or operations in one or more of the following areas: administration, finance, or supply management. Experience working directly with senior management of an international or multinational organization. Language Requirements:ยFluency in Spanish.
Understanding of the English language at the Intermediate level required. Commitment to improving English skills is expected within the first six months of work.
Desirables:
Experience in a UN system agency.
Previous experience with SAP (VISION) or similar ERPs.
Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
