    Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship

    The position of Operations Analyst is assigned to the Climate Change, Resilience and Environment Cluster (CCRE) within the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Department (CCSD). CCSD leads thematic operations, knowledge innovation, and partnerships. You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila.

    You will report to technical international staff and/or senior local officer .

    Your Role

    As an Operations Analyst you will provide operational and coordination support in implementation of the work program of ADB's Carbon Market Program, coordination of response to reports and documents, processing and administration of TA projects and carbon funds and other relevant activities and administrative requirements of the CCRE Cluster front office.

    You will:

  • Support CCRE activities including helping coordinate and finalize management response to reports and documents and other tasks that may be assigned
Lead arrangements including concept and program development for retreat, staff welfare recreation, outreach events, and other activities organized by CCRE. Provide analytical, technical and administrative support in the processing and administration of technical assistance and carbon funds including coordination of OneADB team Provide support to develop project documents from concept design to approval and effectivity; Support for consultant recruitment and consultant contract maintenance Monitor contract awards, disbursements, and output achievement. You will also provide support in organizing knowledge-sharing activities. Collect, compile and analyze comments and information from management on project documents, institutional policies, reports, and other documents for Cluster submission. In consultation with other staff, initiate improvements in internal coordination and administrative processes for efficiency. Perform other duties that might be assigned and reflected in the work plan.

Qualifications

You will need:

Bachelor's degree in social science, communication, business administration or relevant fields. At least five (5) years of relevant professional experience. Understanding of ADB and similar multilateral development bank's operational processes related to inter-departmental coordination. Business writing skills for submissions, reports and memos aligned with ADB standards. Proficiency in collaboration tools for knowledge-sharing and presentations. Proficiency in spreadsheets, other tracking tools and required information technologies. Written and verbal proficiency in English Please refer to the link for ADB Competency Framework for TL3.
