Description of Responsibilities /Scope of Work
In view of the foregoing, UN Women is looking to hire a National Consultant โย Programme Support for WPS and Humanitarian Action.ย The consultant, based in Cotabato City, will provide programme support to the WPS & HA portfolio of UN Women in the Philippines. They are expected to accomplish the following specific tasks:ย
Liaise and coordinate with partners, beneficiaries and stakeholders on the preparation of administrative and logistics support to programme;ย Support specific activities in the field such as but not limited to admin backstopping and disbursement of allowances to activity participants;ย Monitor report submission of consultants and responsible partners;ย Prepare and finalize activity budgets under the guidance of responsible technical officers;ย Initiate procurement of supplies, goods and services that are necessary in programme delivery;ย Support preparation of documents necessary for travel of staff such as canvassing of travel fares, preparation of travel authority, among others;ย Process payments to vendors and consultants on a timely manner; andย Support project closure of the WPS-ASEAN program.ย Monthly update of payments and closure of POsย Assistance in amendment of contracts of consultants and POs Assist in the logistics and administrative support for remaining activities of the WPS-HA: Canvassing for services requirement Preparation of cash advance documents Assist in the consolidation and review of liquidation for cash advance Preparation of vehicle dispatch schedule Assist in the pre, during and post event tasks Arrange travels for UNW staff and other external partners Assist in updating the procurement plan for WPS-HA Monitor provision of regular support in office maintenance and including ensuring on schedule settlement of utility bills Consolidate and review documents for reimbursementsย Update filing system and online document depositoryPayment every end the month from:

Completion of secondary education is required. Bachelorโs degree in Business or Public Administration is an asset.Experience ย
At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in administration or programme management/support; Experience in working in a computer environment using multiple office software packages is required.
