Country: Bangladesh
Description of the Assignment: The main objective of this assignment is to support the Planning and Programming Divisions under the Ministry of Planning in widening the climate change considerations into the planning and budgeting cycle. The specific objectives are โ
ยง Develop and Apply Gender-Responsive and Socially Inclusive Climate Cost-Benefit Analysis (CCBA) Guidelines for Bangladesh
ยง Strengthen the use of Green and Climate Resilience Development (GCRD) Criteria in Public Investment Projects
ยง Enhance IMEDโs Capacity to Integrate Climate Commitments into Project Evaluation
ยง Identify complementarity between UNDPโs and other key actors (DPs and DFIs) climate and PFM related initiatives in Bangladesh.
Period of assignment/services: 85 days (15 August 2025 โ 28 February 2026)
