Invitation to Submit an Offer for an Individual Contractor National Consultancy for a Knowledge Management and Communications Consultant


The UNDP Papua New Guinea Country Office invites qualified individuals to submit an offer for the position of Knowledge Management and Communications Consultant to support the delivery of the following activities:

Scope of Work and Consultancy Activities

Finalize the Project’s Communication Strategy and develop a comprehensive Knowledge Management Strategy. Package existing knowledge products by formatting and presenting content in a polished, user-friendly, and visually appealing manner for communication and awareness materials. Design and layout for publications, including reports, briefs, and brochures for print and digital dissemination (via the NRM Hub). Prepare meeting materials in line with UNDP and GEF branding guidelines, including concept notes, roadshow/consultation awareness materials, mission terms of reference, mission reports, and board papers. Develop standard communication packages for project milestone launches, quarterly newsletters, and project reports. Support selected stakeholders in East New Britain with user-friendly training and awareness materials, including simplified cocoa training materials, summaries for pull-up banners, peel-off banners for signboards (East and West New Britain), and preparation of materials for the 2026 Cocoa Nurseries launch. Assist in finalizing the Cocoa Sustainability Road Map. Support event organization in East and West New Britain, including photography and videography of project activities, and coordinate with the UNDP Communications Team for social media content development and finalization.

Expected Deliverables

Final Communications Strategy and Knowledge Management Strategy. Packaged and polished knowledge products, including: Environment and Social Safeguards documents Guidelines and sustainability products for LUIMS Finalized reports on Component 1 – Outputs 1.1 and 1.3 Awareness materials on NSLUP Existing cocoa and TSA-related reports Financial Literacy Training Modules Platform-related documents and Systems Leadership Reports Oil Palm Training Manual Branded meeting materials (design and layout) for concept notes, roadshow/consultation awareness, mission ToRs and reports, and board papers. Standard communication packages for milestone launches, newsletters, and project reports. Simplified, user-friendly cocoa training materials. Finalized Cocoa Sustainability Road Map ready for print. Communication outputs for project events, including photos, videos, and social media content.

Description of the Assignment: National Consultancy for a Knowledge Management and Communications Consultant (Open to PNG Nationals Only)

Period of assignment/services: 1 December 2025 over a period of five (5) months
