PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project \"Creating Conditions for the Reintroduction of the Turanian Tiger and Assisting in the Conservation of Natural, Historical and Cultural Sites of the Ulytau Mountain Range\" is aimed at creating a sustainable base for the reintroduction of tigers in historical habitats with the inclusion of the Ile-Balkhash State Nature Reservat, preserving the natural, historical and cultural heritage of the Ulytau mountain range. Among the key results of the project: comprehensive improvement of the state of the ecosystems of the Ile River delta and the Southern Balkhash region, strengthening the Ile-Balkhash State Nature Reservat, raising the level of environmental awareness of the population and informing all stakeholders, creating a basis for joint management of ecosystems in the project area with benefits for the conservation of biodiversity and the local community.
Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.

ОПИСАНИЕ ПРОЕКТА
Проект направлен на создание устойчивой базы для реинтродукции тигра в исторических местах обитания с включением Государственного природного резервата «Иле-Балхаш», сохранение природного и историко-культурного наследия горного массива Улытау. В числе ключевых результатов проекта: комплексное улучшение состояния экосистем дельты р. Иле и Южного Прибалхашья, укрепление ГПР «Иле-Балхаш», повышение уровня экологического сознания населения и информирования всех заинтересованных сторон, создание основы для совместного управления экосистемами на территории действия проекта с обеспечением выгод для сохранения биоразнообразия и местного сообщества.
