Position Title: Logistics Analyst, Miami Warehouse
Position Classification: Regular; Full Time, Nonexempt, 40 hours/week
Reports to: US Warehouse Officer
Location: Miami, FL

Position Overview: The US warehouse Logistics Analyst: will report to the US Warehouse Officer to ensure data support and inventory management at US warehouse. The Analyst will manage data and track all items coming in and out of the US warehouse using PIH Open Boxes and WMS inventory. The Analyst will also be responsible for document creation and preservation for inbound and outbound orders. Communicate with site-based staff as to the status and expected delivery date of requested materials. Respond to Planning and Site requests, sending, tracking, and reporting on air and sea shipments. The Analyst will also coordinate inventory control at US Warehouse (Miami, FL).
Responsibilities:
Administrative (50%):
- Data entry (Open Boxes, 3PL WMS, Jira). Receive incoming orders at the US warehouse (Miami, FL) and record inventory in relevant tracking systems.
- Documents: Shipping docs and document storage (MS WORD, Excel, Adobe, SharePoint, Jira)
- Inventory tracking: Planning and Site request, urgent orders, bulk, stock out prevention (Power BI, Teams trackers)
- Quoting: Research sources and vendors, request quotations, perform price comparisons, and negotiate discounts, as requested
- Communication: Shipping alerts, Site call updates liaison PIH and 3pl provider, 3pl billing reconciliation (Teams, Outlook, and WhatsApp)
Inventory Control (50%):
- Manage physical inventory via monthly reconciliations, cycle counts, annual total inventory count. Coordinate schedule with 3pl staff, oversee counts, and lead lost items investigation
- Quality check pick list, packing list incoming and outgoing packing, review completed documents ensuing items and quantities are accurate
- Lead investigations shipping discrepancies incoming and outgoing
Qualifications:
Required:
- 1 - 3 years of experience coordinating logistics activities of varied type including inventory entry and resolution, order placement to vendors, problem solving related to ship dates, errors, changes, shipping product internationally via parcel carriers and with coordinating sea, air, and ground transportation, etc.
- Demonstrated success maintaining tracking systems of any type. Comfort with learning new technology
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Flexible and adaptable
- Exemplary Interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with culturally diverse staff across departments and countries
- Willingness to take initiative; ability to respond calmly and creatively in emergencies
- Ability to lift cartons up to 50 pounds
Preferred:
- Interest in social justice, global health care, and issues of access to medicines
- Fluency in English required; French/Spanish/Creole speaker preferred
- Bachelorโs degree preferred
- Interest in social justice strongly desirable

Pay and Benefits
The expected starting salary range for new hires in this position is between $55,000 - $60,000/year and may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market for the position, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position belongs to a class of roles that have a salary range between $50,000 - $60,000/year. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan with employer match, as well as participate in organization-sponsored medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability insurance, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employeeโs eligible dependents. Full time employees will receive 15 days of vacation, 12 sick days, 3 personal days, and 3 volunteer days in addition to paid time off during the week between Christmas and New Yearโs Day, the week of July 4th, and 11 additional holidays annually.
