Locum Doctor - Consultancy position for provision of migration health assessment services

Project Context and Scope:    Health assessments provision per request of receiving countries.
   
Organizational Department / Unit to which the Consultant is contributing
Migration Health Division, Global Health Assessment Program (GHAP).   Tasks to be performed under this contract
 

• Conduct migration health assessments for immigrants and refugees according to the technical instructions of each country of destination, with filing in relevant systems/platforms and delivering related services
• Reporting provided services in relevant platforms/systems, or as requested
• In provision of services, comply with requirements of IOM, UN, receiving countries, partner organizations and national health authorities
• Report on number of performed health assessments on monthly basis.     Education
  • certified physician (such as GP, cardiologist, pulmonologist but not limited to the listed specialties) with medical practice license covering work with patients of all age groups valid in Kazakhstan Experience
    • minimum 5 years of independent medical practice experience inclusive of experience in migration health assessments Languages
      • knowledge of English, Russian and Kazakh languages. IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish. Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.   Travel required
