Masterโs level qualification in mechanical, aerospace or similar field of engineering, or equivalent education and relevant professional experience. Sound knowledge of project management practices and systems engineering processes. Minimum eight yearsโ experience in managing support through the life cycle of major complex military systems in particular land vehicles or combat related equipment in industry or in a military environment at senior officer level. Ability to deal effectively with personnel at all organisational levels. Ability to facilitate/present persuasively to gain buy in and effective negotiations skills to achieve desired outcomes including business growth. Ability to develop resourceful and effective solutions to problems (including personnel), focus on team performance goals and track metrics to measure performance improvements. Demonstrated ability and experience in creating and developing diverse, inclusive and high performing teams through the application of inclusive leadership principles and practice. Sound digital literacy with experience in using office automation systems and software applications, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Systems engineering knowledge of military weapon systems, preferably in armoured vehicles or major military equipment. A recognised Project Management Certification [e.g. PRINCE2ยฎ Practitioner or Project Management Professional (PMP)]. Minimum five yearsโ experience as project manager in military weapon system acquisition or support projects. Excellent communication skills (written, oral and presentation). Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills along with strong problem solving and conflict management experience. NATO's official languages are English and French. The work of this post requires fluency in English, while working knowledge of French is desirable. WHAT DO WE OFFER?
