University degree in engineering, equivalent education, or relevant professional experience. Minimum five yearsโ experience in engineering and logistic support of complex military equipment. Experience in drafting technical/engineering requirements. Working knowledge of Configuration Management (CM) and related procedures. Good knowledge of and experience in the application and management of Quality Assurance (QA) policy, production control and performance management as applied in a military depot maintenance activity or similar civilian organisation. Ability to operate with minor or no supervision in a demanding environment, acting as a key member of an international project. Ability to facilitate/present persuasively and negotiate effectively to achieve desired outcomes. Sound digital literacy with experience in using office automation systems and software applications, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Specific Qualifications
Project management and cost management skills. Ability to train and transfer knowledge to NSPA or customer personnel. Good working knowledge of and experience in technical support and sustainment of a major military system, preferably ARMS or similar artillery systems. LANGUAGE QUALIFICATIONS
NATO's official languages are English and French. The work of this post requires fluency in English, while working knowledge of French is desirable. WHAT DO WE OFFER?

Basic monthly salary: EUR 7 599,21, tax free. This post will become vacant as of 01 February 2025. Post to be filled subject to final approval. This post is deployable. The incumbent of this post may be required to deploy or may be assigned to a remote location, to perform duties (inside or outside a theatre/deployment location) in support of Council approved operations/missions or in support of national or multinational operations/missions authorised by the Agency Supervisory Board of NSPO. (Definite Duration) This position is required for a limited time and the incumbent of this post will be offered a definite duration contract. (Definite Tenure) Initial duration of the assignment will be for 3 years. The contract may be renewed, but will not exceed the definite tenure of 9 years.
