About this position

The Information Technology Department (ITE) is responsible for formulating the Bank's IT Strategy, its implementation and providing related tools, solutions, and services. The ITE/IPP Policy and Planning Division is the focal point for IT policies, architecture, and governance for the IDB.

ITE/IPP Policy and Planning Division is looking for an experienced professional to work on the ITE Governance team.

What you’ll do

You will report to the IT Governance Team Leader in the ITE/IPP Policy & Planning Division. The following are the most important activities you will be doing:

· You will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating the IT Change Management Process, including coordinating the CAB (Change Advisory Board) Meeting.

· You will coordinate with the different Operational Teams to address regular Change Management operational issues, like backlog analysis, improvement of indicators, deviations from proper usage, etc.

· You will be responsible for coordinating the Product Review and Accreditation Process (PRAC), working with accreditors groups and project managers to oversee and support the process execution and compliance.

· You will be responsible about the Demand Management process and their understanding.

· You will monitor the execution and performance of IT projects assigned to your portfolio. This will include providing advice and support to project/program managers and project teams regularly following PMO Processes.

· You will be responsible for evaluating data and preparing monthly reports and dashboards related to Governance Processes, their operation, and regular improvements.

· You will be responsible for participating in the definition, discussion, and implementation of the different processes and tools related to improving the Bank's Project Methodology, with a strong focus on Agile Methodology.

· You will provide guidelines to understand Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban and how they are supported by the Bank’s Systems.

What you'll need

· Education: Master's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Business, or Project Management. Equivalent combination of education and experience means that relevant professional experience can be substituted for education in the related professional discipline (ratio of two years of work experience for each year of studies).

· Certification in Project Manager and ITIL are preferable.

· Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT projects, project management or portfolio management, with 2 years of Agile Methodologies.

· Preferred experience in IT Processes Definition and Continuous Improvements.

· Preferred experience in Power BI, Dashboards, and Data Analysis.

· Desired experience working with ServiceNow, Change Management, ITIL, SDLC principles.

· Desired experience with Agile Frameworks such as SAFe and Scrum.

· Desired experience in projects with modern technologies and processes like Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, DevOps, and/or Agile IT delivery.

· Desired knowledge of Cloud technologies, Cloud Security, and trends.

· Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is required.

Requirements

· Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.

· Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.

Type of contract and duration

· Type of contract: International Consultant Full-Time.

· Length of contract: 19 months.

· Work Location: On site.
