Under the overall supervision of the Head of Climate Risk and Early Warning Systems(CREWS) Secretariat, the intern will carry-out the following tasks:
a) Assist in the research of funding opportunities for the assigned potential partners, documenting priorities, the funding modalities and timelines etc;
b) Assist in the drafting of internal correspondence and formal correspondence to partners;
c) Support the maintenance and updating of the donor's database;
d) Carry out any other resource mobilization - related work tasks as required by the Head of CREWS Secretariat. QUALIFICATIONS
Education
First level degree in economics, social science, international studies or other relevant field. Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program.
Experience
Applicants are not required to have professional work experience for participation in the internship programme.
Languages
Excellent knowledge of English (both oral and written).
Knowledge of other official languages of the Organization would be an advantage.
