Work LocationIn-Person/Full-time (Incheon City) Expected duration2 โ 6 months Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe internship opportunity at the ESCAP Subregional Office for East and North-East Asia (SRO-ENEA) located in Songdo, Incheon, Republic of Korea, spans a minimum duration of two months, with the possibility of extension up to six months as deemed necessary by the office. This internship is UNPAID and full-time. Interns work five days per week (40 hours) under the supervision of a designated staff member in their assigned team. Intern responsibilities will primarily center around supporting the communication activities of the office. Duties include a range of tasks, including but not limited to: - Assisting in the development and implementation of a comprehensive communication strategy; - Supporting the creation of basic outreach materials, such as content drafts for video collage, newsletters, website updates, and simple social media posts; - Supporting the planning and execution of outreach events and campaigns; - Conducting research on communication trends and best practices; - Assisting in the management of the office's online presence, including website monitoring; - Attending and summarizing meetings with communication partners and stakeholders. Qualifications/special skillsApplicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required. Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Masterโs or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelorโs, Masterโs or PH.D.
