  1. Internship Topic
  Due diligence for financing two proposed private sector infrastructure projects in the renewable energy, transport, and other relevant sectors, located in Thailand, Viet Nam, and/or the Philippines.

  2. Summary of Job Description
  The Intern will assist in due diligence for financing of two proposed private sector infrastructure projects in the renewable energy, transport, and other relevant sectors, located in Thailand, Viet Nam, and/or the Philippines. Due diligence will include a sector analysis as well as an economic, financial, technological and sponsor evaluation of each project. The assignment will include business travel to the Philippines for 3 days, to undertake discussions with internal counterparties including PSOD FO, ORM, SG and OGC on the results of due diligence at ADB Headquarters.

  Timing: June 2025 onwards

  Thailand Resident Mission, Bangkok, Thailand

  5. Expected Outcomes
  The Intern will be working as a member of a due diligence team in ADB's Private Sector Infrastructure Finance Division, and his/her output includes specific sections of the final due diligence reports and other ADB internal documents used for ADB’s private sector infrastructure projects. The Intern will also produce a short presentation of his/her findings.

  To complete the internship, the Intern needs to submit a project report to HR at the end of the internship, and to present the projects and his/fer findings at an ADB-wide public forum

  Qualifications

  6. Education Requirements
  Currently enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D. program in Business Administration or other relevant field.

  7. Relevant Experience and Other Requirements
  • Knowledge of financial institution or infrastructure project sponsor.
  • Capital market and/or emerging market research experience is an asset.
