Purpose of the Position:
The Infrastructure Resiliency Officer will be responsible for the IT Infrastructure Disaster Recovery (DR) operations, partnering with of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to ensure Infrastructure DR operation readiness, maintain and enhance DR management, business continuity and operational resilience practice, ensuring that it is fit for purpose and addresses the key risks of crisis and business disruptions. In this role, the incumbent will develop a sound approach to infrastructure disaster recovery working within the risk and controls framework, balancing the needs of the business and company disaster recovery standards.

Main duties and responsibilities:
The incumbent will work under the direct supervision and guidance of the Head, Customer IT Resilience Team (OPBR), within the Operations Division (OP) and in close collaboration with UNICCโs client(s). The incumbent could be requested to do any other tasks of similar level in related fields. The incumbent will perform the following duties:
As part of the Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Team Leadership, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:
Lead a team of subject matter experts (SMEs) and system administrators to identify, assess, and manage relevant Business Continuity Plans (BCP), its implementation and execution when the need arise Assist the relevant Organizational Resilience team in developing, implementing, and maintaining BCPs, including reviewing runbooks, conducting Desktop Walkthroughs, coordinating Call Tree exercises, and overseeing BCP testing Work in close collaboration and under the guidelines of ADBโs Infrastructure team Collaborate as required with ADBโs Business Continuity team in cooperation with their directives Maintain and mentor the IT Resilience hub team membersPolicy Compliance and Gap Analysis:
Stay updated on BCP policies and guidelines, conduct gap analyses, and provide findings to the relevant teams for the development of action plans to address compliance gapsOperational and Technology Resilience Reviews:
Conduct operational and technology resilience reviews, including Business Continuity Management, Disaster Recovery assessments and drillsGuidance and Governance:
Offer guidance and lead BCP methodology, implementation, testing, and governance to ADB Supervise BC Plan compliance in IT Resilience Hub and oversee BC requirements compliance for ADBRollout and Support:
Serve as a contact point for the rollout of BCP tools and methodologies in ADB business continuity sites, specifically in Valencia, Spain and Geneva, Switzerland Ensure business recovery solutions are implemented and periodically testedDocumentation and Crisis Management Tools:
Lead the evaluation, testing, implementation and update of BCP documentation and crisis management tools in Valencia, SpainAutomation:
Drive automation on Disaster Recovery PlansOther:
Provide other ad hoc support either within the team or in other teams as required โ this includes the participation in special projects or support to service delivery for short period of time on a part-time or full-time basis upon request from the senior managementRecruitment Profile
Experience and Skills required:
Essential:
Five (5) or more years of experience in Information Technology or related field Proven experience in Disaster Recovery or Business Continuity practices Expert knowledge on Business Continuity management such as Business Continuity strategies, crisis communications, incident response and Business Continuity plan assessment and maintenanceDesirable:
Previous supervisory experience Previous experience in data analysis or researchEducation:

First university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fieldDesirable:
Advanced university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field Business Continuity certifications, (such as BRCP, CBCP, CBCI)Languages:

Compensation:
Annual Salary Estimation (net of tax at single rate):
Valencia (Spain), including post adjustment (30,9% on April 2025): US$ 91,907.UNICC also offers generous leave and absence allowances, flexible working hours, overtime compensation, teleworking, access to training, and depending on eligibility other benefits such as relocation grant, dependency allowance, language allowance, or education grant.
