Description of the Assignment:


The main objective of this assignment is to develop a comprehensive National Anti-Corruption Policy for the Kingdom of Eswatini which will provide a framework for developing ways and means of preventing and combating corruption in a comprehensive, coordinated, inclusive and sustainable manner.The policy framework must outline a course of action that will provide for acceptable legal, institutional and social interventions in the fight against corruption. It should also be inclusive, highlighting the role of all stakeholders with regards to prevention, investigations and education. The policy will be informed by the national consultations and input from all the relevant stakeholders that were engaged on the subject in the year 2024.The National Policy on Anti-Corruption will seek to provide a policy framework for inclusive participation in the fight against corruption. It will also provide a wider scope for fighting corruption beyond the legal perspective to include institutional, socio-economic and political responsibility contributing to collaborative and coordination enhancement in all sectors. The impact will be a significant reduction in the levels of corruption and prevention of the loss of national financial resources through corruption.

Period of assignment/services: 35 working days (spread over three months)
