About this position
We are looking for an experienced speechwriter and public affairs expert for the corporate communications team to support the work we do and help disseminate IDB Invest content. As corporate communication officer or senior officer you will advise and support BID Invest Management and senior staff in preparing talking points, speeches, and presentations.
What youโll do:
Provides advice and input to Head of Corporate Communication in the preparation of strategies for IDB Invest positioning in the market.
What you'll need
Education: masterโs degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in communications, finance, journalism, international affairs or other fields relevant to the role. Experience: At least 8 years of working on corporate communications or financial communications at international companies or international development organizations. Also, preferable experience managing media relations or experience working in a newsroom. Languages: Oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish required; knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is a plus.Key skills
