Under the overall supervision of the National Finance Officer and direct supervision of the Information Technology Assistant, the Information Technology Clerk will provide support to the ICT Unit in Pacaraima
- Support the Information Technology (IT) team with the installation, configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of IT equipment (Computers, Smartphones, Satellite phones, Printers, Scanners, Monitors, Modems and Routers)
- Monitor physical operation of the IT infrastructure (LAN equipment, wireless equipment, video conferencing equipment) and ISP links, to ensure its continued network services in working spaces of IOM Boa Vista.
- Provide prompt first level IT support by responding to tickets raised by users with issues.
- Support Administrative team in keeping an updated inventory of software licenses and IT assets. Keep updated the signed receipt and responsibility forms of IT equipment with staff.
- Assist the IT team in orientating new users on the use of IOM applications and IT processes.
- Ensure compliance of IOM’s ICT policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Provide IT support during IOM events, webinars, and meetings when required.
- Provide support to other ICT activities.
- Participate in relevant meetings and capacity building trainings organized by IOM.

- High school diploma with at least 3 years of relevant work experience; or
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Networking or any other related field from an accredited academic institution or University on going with at least 1 year of relevant experience. - Previous experience with IT support, setup of computing equipment and access to LAN and WLAN infrastructure is required.
- Previous working experience in an international or national development or humanitarian organization or a non-governmental organization would be an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive attitude.

- Attention to detail and ability to organize and work against tight deadlines.
- A good command of MS Office applications and Windows operational system is required.
