The Human Resources Services (HRS) Division in the Field Offices is responsible for providing services related to payroll, entitlements and movements and records. The post may be assigned varying portfolios to meet operational needs and continuity of business such as being responsible for some or the full range of services under payroll, entitlements and/or movements and records for designated portfolio of geographical areas and/or programmes and support departments and/or personnel categories. โข Supervisor: The incumbent of this post directly reports to the Senior Human Resources Officer (Services), A17. โข Supervisees: The incumbent of this post provides direct supervision to a number of professional and/or general services staff members and/or other personnel. Responsibilitiesโข Manages the services and activities for the assigned portfolio, provides supervision, coaching, guidance and technical training to the staff assigned and allocates work as appropriate. โข Supervises the various functions for the assigned portfolio including, but not limited to, the appointment records of new staff, including, temporary assistants, and other temporary staff such as casual laborers, Limited Duration Contracts and Individual Service Providers (ISPs), all types of leaves, dependency and other allowances, staff retirements and separations, ensures compliance with the Agencyโs rules, regulations, policies and directives. โข Oversees or provides support, as assigned, for operations of the Group Medical Insurance (GMI). โข Checks and signs, as authorized, Personnel Action Forms, other forms, documents and correspondence related to the entitlements and/or movements and records; reviews and approves the transactions on the Human Resources Management (HRM) as related to entitlements and/or movements and records including payroll elements separation benefits, provident fund and GMI as applicable. โข Manages the preparation of statistical and other HR reports related to the functions for the assigned portfolio. โข Relieves the other HR Officer in the Human Resources Services Division, as applicable, during his/her absence. โข Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
