Expected duration3-6 Months Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis internship is in the Joint Umoja HR Support Team within the Operational Support and Advisory Service (OSAS), Human Resources Services Division (HRSD), Office of Support Operations (OSO), Department of Operational Support (DOS) and will report to an Umoja HR Support Team Lead/focal point. The intern will support the review, correction, and updating of school related information in our SAP Umoja system. The role involves working with existing data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness in alignment with organizational standards and system requirements for school education grant processing. 1. Review, correct and consolidate existing school data extracted from the Umoja education grant module to ensure accuracy and completeness, while addressing any data discrepancies such as missing fields, duplicate or outdated records. 2. Cross-reference data with official documents or external sources to verify validity. 3. Maintain detailed logs of changes and follow internal documentation procedures. 4. Collaborate with the self-service education grant project team to validate updates. 5. Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy standards. 6. Provide support for other data cleanup initiatives and contribute to process improvement activities within the team as required. 7. Engage in creative thinking and constructive critique in team brainstorming sessions to refine and innovate project ideas Qualifications/special skillsApplicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent). However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required. Applicants must be a student in the final year of their first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Masterโs or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelorโs, Masterโs or PH.D.
