About this position
We are looking for a results-oriented, trusted, and forward thinker Head of the Cash Management and Settlements Group (Head CMS). As Head CMS, you will lead the team in charge of the Treasury back-office.
You will work in the Treasury Division, part of the Finance Department (FIN/TRY). The Treasury Division is responsible for mobilizing and managing Bank resources to fulfill its financial intermediation activities. The main functions include funding, investments, asset liability management, client solutions, middle office and banking and liquidity management (cash and collateral) and settlements.
What youโll do:
Manage and supervise cash management team to coordinate, plan, and monitor the day-to-day management of the operational cash and transactions for the purpose of ensuring that the Bank meets its short-term obligations. Ensure that FX trades executed on a timely basis. Manage and monitor the payment flow of Bank transactions, reconciliation and investigations of all outstanding cash items. Supervise the Treasury operations team to ensure that Confirmations and Settlements tasks related to Securities and Non-Security transactions (i.e. FX, money markets, swaps, swaptions and futures) for the Investment, Treasury Client Solutions, Asset and Liability Management and Funding activities, monitoring and ensuring that cash needs and requirements for desks activities are executed, as well as the servicing related to our Bond Issuances and Swaps. Manage the Documentation team execution of Bond and Swap Documentation to ensure that the validation of Term sheets, pricing supplements and prospectus for New Bond issues, asset and Liability swaps are performed in a timely and accurate manner. Be the contact point of the Group and coordinate with team for audit topics to make sure requests are handled timely and properly. Manage and complete work on special projects to ensure delivery of planned corporate products and services.What you'll need
Education: Preferably Masterโs degree or equivalent advanced degree in Finance or related field, or Bachelorโs degree in Business, Economics, Math or other quantitative disciplines combined with a professional certification relevant to the role (e.g. CFA or CTP). Experience: At least 6 years of progressive experience in similar positions with cash management, reconciliations, settlements, and/or treasury operations. Experience in supervisory roles and in international financial institutions is required. Knowledge of the financial markets of the Latin America and Caribbean region is desirable. Languages: Proficiency in English is required. Additional knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is desirable.Key skills
