ContextAfrica Child Foundation Mission of Tanzania (ACFMT) organization is proud to introduce the โGreen Horizons for Morogoroโ project, a transformative initiative designed to restore and enhance the natural environment in 10 of the most marginalized and needy schools in Morogoro, Tanzania. This project will engage young people in practical environmental conservation activities such as creating eco-friendly school spaces, planting indigenous trees, and reviving local water ecosystems. Through hands-on learning and community involvement, we will empower students to become stewards of their environment and future leaders of sustainable development First. We start with Nutrition, The community will be trained on how to prepare food and porridge for young children at school so as to enable young children to be health and reduce diseases which can affect to their growth because the children are the one who are being prepared to leader the national for coming years so it is important for them to make sure that the health of them are good and clear for their growth. at that programme we will use time to train children at school, To train women at hospital by demonstration and giving them food for feeding children at school and to their home. Second is Agriculture Programme, Here our organization will establish gardening at school and to the family by planting vegetable, beans and maize so as to get crops for nutrition which will enable the society to have good health through using vegetable and enable them to get money and reduce poverty to the family which will enable them to get important needs to their life. Third is Climate change, Here the organization will establish the planting of fruits tree at school where by each school in Tanzania will plant 100 fruits tree of mango, orange, and other traditional fruits which will enable the society to be improved and get fruits for their health and improve their life. Each task will take 1 - 12 weeks , we have four task which are School Nutrition programme, Task of School Gardening , Task of Livestock keeping and Finally is task of planting fruits tree at primary school in Tanzania.

Expected Outcomes and Their Measurement: 1. Eco-Hub Establishment: a. Outcome: Each of the 10 schools will have a functional eco-hub that promotes biodiversity and acts as a learning center. b. Measurement: Pre- and post-implementation surveys, photographic documentation, and feedback from school administrators. 2. Tree Planting Success: a. Outcome: Over 10,000 indigenous trees will be successfully planted, resulting in measurable improvements in local air quality and soil stability. b. Measurement: Detailed planting logs, regular field monitoring, and visual progress reports. 3. Youth Empowerment: a. Outcome: 1,500 students will gain practical skills and environmental knowledge through active participation in restoration activities and leadership training. b. Measurement: Attendance records, training evaluations, focus group discussions, and student testimonials. 4. Water Ecosystem Improvement: a. Outcome: Sustainable water conservation practices will be adopted at each school, leading to improved water quality. b. Measurement: Water quality testing, workshop participation records, and qualitative feedback from the community. 5. Digital Advocacy Impact: a. Outcome: Increased community engagement and awareness as evidenced by a 70% growth in digital interactions. b. Measurement: Social media analytics, website traffic, and media coverage metrics. IV. Project Activities and Methodology 1. School Eco-Hub Transformation: โข Activity: Convert 10 target schools into eco-hubs with green spaces, organic gardens, and rainwater harvesting systems. โข Method: Work with school staff, local environmental experts, and community volunteers; students lead implementation under school prefect guidance. โข Outcome: Sustainable, green learning environments that demonstrate practical environmental conservation. 2. Mass Tree Planting Campaign: โข Activity: Organize large-scale tree planting events to plant over 10,000 indigenous trees in and around school premises. โข Method: Coordinate with local nurseries and use community-based planting days; integrate educational sessions on the importance of native species. โข Outcome: Improved air quality, increased biodiversity, and a robust model for future restoration efforts. 3. Water Ecosystem Revival Workshops: โข Activity: Host workshops on constructing sustainable water systems such as bio-swales and natural water filters. โข Method: Local engineers and conservation experts will conduct practical sessions with hands-on student participation. โข Outcome: At least 150 students will learn and implement effective water conservation techniques, leading to cleaner and more sustainable water resources. 4. Youth Environmental Leadership Training: โข Activity: Deliver quarterly training sessions focused on environmental stewardship, climate change, and digital advocacy. โข Method: Engage experienced trainers and use peer mentoring models to empower school prefects and selected student leaders. โข Outcome: Develop 100 empowered student leaders capable of driving and sustaining environmental initiatives. 5. Digital Monitoring and Advocacy: โข Activity: Launch a digital campaign to document and promote the projectโs progress and impact. โข Method: Train students to capture and share visual and data-driven content through social media and local media outlets. โข Outcome: Achieve a significant increase in local and online engagement (target of 30% increase), fostering broader community support. V.
