This is a hybrid position which requires 8 days/month in the office. You can be based in our office in Washington DC, London, or The Hague. Existing work authorization is required at the time of application submission as WRI is unable to sponsor any visa work sponsorship for this position. To be eligible for this position in US, you must be a resident of DC, Maryland or Virginia at the start of employment.

Job Highlight:

Reporting to Senior Operations Manager of the Global Energy Program, you will integrate equity into your work. This is a new position within the Global Energy Program. You will work with the Energy team leadership, you will create and deliver the Global Energy Programโ€™s strategy for in-person, hybrid and digital events. This includes managing and delivering multiple large meetings, conferences, summits, and related events for high-profile stakeholders, donors, and more. For example, this role will lead planning and operations for large, highly produced global summits on the energy transition that bring together leaders from government agencies, renewable and clean energy companies, financial institutions, other private sector actors and NGOs. You will be supported by the Global Energy Program Communications and Engagement team, and WRIโ€™s Institutional Communications & Events team.
