CIMMYT is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and service-oriented professional for the position of Food and Beverage Manager to work in BSD department in the Operations chapter.

 

The positions will be based at CIMMYT\u2019s headquarters in Texcoco, near Mexico City.

 

Specific duties:

 

\u00ae    Oversee and coordinate all F&B outlets and services (Cafeteria, Dining Hall, Catering, Food Truck, Grocery Store, Vending Machines).

\u00ae    Manage the department\u2019s budget, cost control, revenue, and profitability.

\u00ae    Develop and update the product and service catalog.

\u00ae    Lead menu planning and control, including nutritional information and communication materials.

\u00ae    Negotiate with suppliers and ensure timely deliveries.

\u00ae    Control inventories and fixed assets.

\u00ae    Coordinate uniforms, equipment, and work materials for staff.

\u00ae    Ensure compliance with hygiene standards and certifications (Distintivo H, safety regulations).

\u00ae    Analyze satisfaction surveys and complaints, implement improvements.

\u00ae    Propose and develop strategies to increase revenue.

Requirements

\u00ae    Bachelor\u2019s degree in Gastronomy, Hospitality Management, or related field.

\u00ae    Minimum 5 years of experience in F&B management, including multi-outlet operations.

\u00ae    Knowledge of international cuisine, service protocols, and Distintivo H.

\u00ae    Intermediate English (B1).

\u00ae    Advanced MS Office skills.

\u00ae    Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
