Family Support Specialist - Intensive Family Support (CALD Program)

Working within a case management framework, you will be using assertive outreach and multiple soft entry points to engage and support culturally and linguistically diverse families with multiple and complex needs, who require significant support to improve family wellbeing and reduce risk of harm to children.

Where you come in:

In this full position maximum term (until June 2024) role based in Brisbane, you’ll work with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse families with multiple and complex needs who have been assessed as not meeting the threshold for statutory intervention, but who require significant support to improve family wellbeing and reduce risk of harm to children. As part of our Intensive Family Support - CALD team, you’ll report to our Team Leader, Florence Opaye.

You have experience working collaboratively with families to achieve the best outcomes for children. A sound understanding of the impact of trauma on child development and case management skills to support parents and carers around the needs of children to increase safety and promote overall family functioning.
