In this full-time, permanent position, youโll work within a case management framework in an outreach role, providing support to individuals who are experiencing domestic, family or sexual violence to help us create lasting change for children everywhere. Youโll work as part of our Domestic and Family Violence Specialist Service team based in Doomadgee or Mt Isa , flexible hours between 8.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Ideally, the role is full time (38 hours per week), though we're also open to candidates who would prefer casual or part time work.

Providing holistic case management, delivering support to vulnerable and disadvantaged clients and supporting relationships for favourable client outcomes Ensuring the voices of children and young people are heard Identifying strengths, establishing goals for the program and reviewing client progress towards these goals Promoting skills which increase health, safety and developmentA place to feel valued:
You deep expertise supporting families within a child centred, strengths-based framework will be invaluable. Youโre passionate about and demonstrate a strong understanding of the impact of trauma on children and their families and keenly aware of the additional impacts and barriers experienced by Indigenous families.
This role requires:
Demonstrated experience in case management and knowledge of relevant legislation Demonstrated experience working with, and understanding of, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and families Strong report writing, analytical and evaluation skills, including data collation and analysis Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or significant experience working in a similar serviceA place to belong:
