This is a hybrid position which requires 8 days per month in the office. You can be based in our office in Washington DC Office. Existing work authorization is required at the time of application submission as WRI is unable to sponsor any visa work sponsorship for this position. To be eligible for this position, you must be a resident of DC, Maryland or Virginia at the start of employment.

Job Highlight:

Reporting to the Senior Manager for Development Operations, you will provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Vice President for Governance & Development and support the Global Development Directorate's communications and institutional engagement efforts. You will directly support the EVP as they advance department priorities. You will ensure the EVP can focus on strategic decision-making and business activities to achieve ambitious fundraising goals. Your daily work will include administrative and operational tasks, including email and calendar management, assisting with global travel, scheduling, logistics, and reporting. You will be a key player in project management, tracking short- and longer-term priorities, deadlines, and requests. You will support the preparation of materials used for internal and external meetings, events and site visits. You will anticipate the EVPโ€™s needs as well as adapt and respond thoughtfully to emerging issues and new priorities. You will also provide general administrative support to the Global Development Directorate and support the Directorate's communications and institutional engagement efforts. You will be supported by the Core Development Team.
