Work LocationHome Based Expected duration1 Aug 25-16 Feb 26 Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnder the guidance and supervision of the Coordinator for ICT, CTED, based in New York, the Evaluation Expert, in close coordination and cooperation, will collaborate with the project team throughout the entire evaluation process, and contribute to the following tasks: โข Attend the expert group meeting (activity 2 of the project) in Nairobi, Kenya as an observer to collect information and build context and contacts for follow-on evaluation; โข Develop the evaluation design with detailed methods, tools and techniques based on the project workplan and logframe to measure the achievement of outputs and outcomes as set and conducted by the project team; โข Review results of questionnaires and consultation meetings with national beneficiaries as conducted by the project team; โข Interview beneficiary States/Organizations/entities as part of the evaluation process; โข Provide substantive inputs in relation to the area of expertise to the whole evaluation process and to all deliverables; โข Ensure adherence to the UNEG Norms and Standards, and the full evaluation terms of Reference (ToR); โข Provide draft and final evaluation reports, and conduct briefings of results. Qualifications/special skillsโข Advanced university degree (Masterโs degree or equivalent) in law, security, criminology, international relations/policy, or related field is required.
