Mission and objectives UNDPโ€™s Global Programme on Nature for Development brings together three different initiatives under one program โ€“ the Equator Initiative, the National Biodiversity Initiative, and the Global Forest Initiative โ€“ in order to identify, foster, showcase and celebrate nature-based solutions that help achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at local, national and international levels. The work of the Global Programme on Nature for Development contributes to UNDPโ€™s Strategic Plan 2014-2017 by charting sustainable development pathways through the conservation, restoration and sustainable management of biodiversity and ecosystems; and by promoting inclusive and effective democratic governance in the area of natural resources.

Equator Prize case studies support a network of local sustainable development solutions. Case studies translated into communities' local language(s) advances recognition of these solution. Equator Prize translated case studies help us conduct more effective multi-stakeholder dialogues to accelerate forest action.

Task DescriptionWe are looking for an Online Volunteer to help proofread a 15-page case study translated from English to Bengali. The case study will be sent via email to the selected volunteer.
