The ITS Business Administration Department (ITSBA) is a central pillar in the World Bank Group's IT, responsible for managing the business of ITS. ITSBA serves as a strategic catalyst, navigating IT transformation, endorsing agile and lean methodologies, and sculpting the IT workforce blueprint. It champions stringent governance, proactive risk management, and unwavering compliance with policies and standards, while also ensuring meticulous financial oversight of IT resources. ITSBA is the driving force behind organizational change and transformation efforts, instilling a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Unit Context
The Transformation Management Unit (ITSTM) was created to drive enterprise-wide change initiatives, advance Agile adoption, and embed organizational change management (OCM) capabilities across ITS. The unit provides specialized support in strategic program delivery, cultural transformation, and digital modernization. Through a robust service portfolio, ITSTM ensures transformation efforts are impactful, inclusive, and resilient empowering ITS to meet future demands while improving user experience, adoption, and business outcomes.
Transformation and Change Specialist play a critical hands-on role in planning and delivering transformation and change initiatives that align with ITS strategic goals. The specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement Agile practices, support organizational readiness, and drive stakeholder engagement and communications. The specialist will contribute to developing a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement while ensuring successful adoption of new ways of working, technologies, and mindsets.
Roles and Responsibilities
โข Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT transformation projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
โข Contribute to the development and implementation of Agile and lean methodologies across various ITS functions and teams.โข Facilitate workshops to ensure team members and stakeholders understanding and adoption of Agile methodologies, new tools and processes.
โข Conduct data analysis to support transformation initiatives, providing insights and recommendations based on findings.โข Engage with stakeholders to address concerns and ensure alignment with project objectives.
โข Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely information flow.โข Support the implementation of Organizational Change Management (OCM) practices, helping to facilitate the adoption of new technologies and processes.
โข Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.โข Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of best practices.
โข Identify potential risks and issues related to transformation projects and support the development of mitigation strategies.โข Creates clear, engaging contentโsuch as presentations, briefs, and reportsโto communicate transformation goals and progress to key stakeholders.
Knowledge and Skills
โข Familiarity with SAFe Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methods.โข Strong understanding of change management methodologies and frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter).
โข Ability to analyze organizational risk and recommend mitigation strategies.โข Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging across levels.

Selection Criteria
โข A Masterโs degree in computer science, marketing, business, data analytics, information technology, or a relevant discipline, with 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the IT transformation field, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
โข Knowledge of Agile Frameworks: Demonstrated understanding and practical knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe. Ability to apply Agile principles to support IT transformation initiatives.โข Interpersonal and Diplomatic Skills: Exceptional ability to effectively partner with diverse business stakeholders, build strong partnerships, and foster good governance. Proven capability to influence decision-makers through collaboration, education, and working partnerships.
โข Stakeholder and Market Understanding: Comprehensive understanding of stakeholder processes, global financial markets, economic, technological trends, as well as business challenges and opportunities through an IT lens.โข Analytical and Project Management Skills: Outstanding ability to design and conduct data analysis and manage projects effectively.

Experience
