ContextUNICEF and the Learning Passport team works to provide uninterrupted education for every child affected by crisis – especially girls, children with disabilities, internally displaced children, refugees and migrants. We help children develop skills to cope with the trauma of crisis, and supply them with learning spaces that are safe, child-friendly and equipped with water and sanitation facilities. Our work builds capacity by training teachers, supplying learning materials and supporting Governments to reduce the risk of disaster. This assignment involves developing digital learning materials and resources to support parents and education including education in emergencies. Volunteers will contribute to designing content aimed at enhancing teaching and learning experiences. Volunteers will have access to relevant resources and materials design courses for the Learning Passport platform.
Task DescriptionWe are looking for 2 online volunteers to support the Learning Passport initiative. Volunteers will be asked to: - Adapt existing 10 Word document (1–10 pages each) into digital courses to be hosted on the Learning Passport. - Develop 10 pre- and post-course evaluations with a few straightforward questions to measure the effectiveness of the courses and track learning outcomes. Volunteers will collaborate closely with the Learning Passport team and gain insights into how UNICEF’s digital learning platform addresses learning poverty by supporting children and youth globally.
