About PIH-US
Partners In Health United States (PIH-US) is the U.S. arm of Partners In Health, a nonprofit, social justice organization. We envision a future in which health is a human right, not a privilege in the United States. We seek the transformation of health and social systems so that structures of oppression no longer determine the quality or length of a personโ€™s life.

PIH-US accompanies visionary public health and community partners working to build strong, integrated, community-led health systems across the U.S. PIH-US currently supports local health departments, health providers, elected officials and community leaders to define clear health and racial equity agendas and provides technical advising and operational support to deliver on those commitments. Our current focus communities include: Montgomery, Alabama; Chicago, Illinois; Immokalee, Florida; Newark, New Jersey; Massachusetts; North Carolina; and Pima County, Arizona. We capture learnings from across this network to mobilize resources, advance policy change, and lay the groundwork for stronger community health systems nationally.

Position Overview
This position is a leadership role responsible for developing and leading PIH-US's technical advising, implementation, accompaniment efforts and other programming in Immokalee, FL and surrounding areas. The Director will drive strategy, set programmatic goals for PIH-USโ€™s work in southwest Florida, and build relationships with community and regional partners. The Director will serve as the primary liaison with PIH-USโ€™s local partners (e.g., Department of Health, HealthCare Network, Coalition of Immokalee Workers, community organizations) in the development of effective equitable public health and community responses to address chronic disparity and lack of access to services faced by vulnerable groups in Immokalee and surrounding areas. In addition, the Director will collaborate with PIH-US colleagues across the U.S., as well as PIHโ€™s colleagues globally, to bring learnings and insights from Immokalee to national and international advocacy and communications initiatives and to bring PIH-USโ€™s cross-site learnings to Immokalee.
