Central to this process, and as further mandated by General Assembly resolution 72/279, a new generation of UN Resident Coordinator Offices across the world are being strengthened under the leadership of an empowered UN Resident Coordinator, the highest-ranking representative of the UN Development System at country level. The RC Office seeks to contract a digital photographer to create photos which will provide media assets to highlight meetings and events held during high level visits. Duties and Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Communication Team lead, the photographer will provide photos from The photographer will deliver a minimum of 10 high resolution photographs per event. Qualifications/special skillsA High School Diploma or equivalent is required. All candidates must submit a copy of the required educational certificate. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. A minimum of 1 year of professional work experience in photography is required. LanguagesEnglish and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat; For this position, fluency in Arabic is required. Knowledge of English is desirable.
