The Chief Digital Office (CDO) at UNDP is leading this effort with the goal of embedding digital technology in the development projects that we implement, supporting government partners to build inclusive digital eco-systems, and transforming the organization internally to enable these changes.ย ย
CDO is looking for Digital Analysts to support to the digital programming initiatives within its portfolio through research, capacity building and monitoring and evaluation.ย This job advertisement is an open recruitment that may be used to fill future vacancies in the CDO. Duties and Responsibilities
Support CDOโs Digital Transformation and Ecosystem portfolio
Conduct research on, and draft briefing notes and reports on rights-based and inclusive digital ecosystem best practices and standards and summarize findings for team leadership. Support knowledge management of CDOโs digital ecosystem portfolio to improve and accelerate the work, including developing approaches for data collection, documentation, and knowledge sharing. Support the coordination of digital/AI readiness assessments for governments and member states, including upkeep of surveys and data, analysing data and compiling reports within the template. Work closely with various programming teams across UNDP to support the implementation of digital programming.ย Maintain and update digital guides and knowledge-sharing resources for organizational use. Draft presentations, briefing notes, and reports to communicate project progress and insights to stakeholders, in collaboration with the Communications team. Contribute to documenting lessons learned and best practices to enhance future initiatives. Support in monitoring budget and reporting to donors.Support digital capacity building efforts within the UN ecosystem and with government counterparts
Conduct user research to identify learning needs, inform training design, and ensure alignment with stakeholders' objectives. Facilitate digital and data training workshops for relevant stakeholders within UNDP, the UN ecosystem and governments. Collaborate with internal and external partners to promote knowledge-sharing, ensure the accessibility of learning resources, and enhance the effectiveness of digital transformation initiatives.Support partnerships and engagement to build support for UNDPโs digital work
Organise high-profile events including governments, development agencies, private sector partners, and civil society organisations. Support broader partnership, outreach and engagement efforts by CDO in areas such as resource mobilization, inter-agency and multilateral engagement, joint collaborations and stakeholder outreachSupport product development for digital tools
Support the research, proposal, prototyping, testing, and conceptual development of new digital products. Collaborate with internal teams to design, test, and refine digital products, ensuring alignment with user needs and goals.\\ Perform user testing on digital tools and incorporate feedback to enhance functionality and user experience.ยThe incumbent performs other duties within their functional profile as deemed necessary for the efficient functioning of the Office and the Organization.

The Digital Analyst will be reporting to the relevant team lead within the Chief Digital Office.

Education:
