Position Overview

The Development Associate supports the continued growth and improved efficiency of fundraising efforts at Partners In Health. The Development Associate is responsible for maintaining and regularly assessing the Resource Generation Branchโ€™s (RGB) portfolio and prospect management system, which encompasses all revenue generating streams including individuals, corporations, foundations and the public sector to build strong and nimble portfolios for frontline fundraisers. This role works closely with their research colleagues to ensure the swift progression of newly identified prospects within the prospect channels. In addition, this role manages processes and workflows supporting data accuracy and quality assurance as well as contributing to the RGBโ€™s revenue and stewardship goals.

Responsibilities

Develops and manages the entry practices and coding of donor data in Salesforce using industry best practices and practical insights. Manages the portfolio assignment process to ensure that portfolio size and distribution is optimized. Builds donor data entry strategies in conjunction with the Senior Director of Prospect Management and Research. Works closely with the research team to help identify new prospects for qualification and determines process for assignment to portfolios. Ensures effective tracking of assignments in the Salesforce database to measure and inform practices.Collaborates with Strategic Information System (SIS) team to manage the portfolio and prospect management Power BI reports, Power Apps and online ticketing systems. Responsible for data quality and quality control reporting processes related to prospect management.Serves as a prospect management liaison for special projects and key initiatives across the organization as needed.

Bachelorโ€™s degree with at least 2-3 years of fundraising/development experience or combined equivalentUnderstanding of information management in a non-profit database structure, particularly the ability to manipulate and retrieve data Ability to deal with confidential information in a sensitive manner. Ability to work well under pressure, handle several projects simultaneously and re-prioritize as needed as well as strong experience with computers, online databases, and Internet searching. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $60,000 and $75,000/year. The starting salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market for the position, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan with employer match, as well as participate in organization-sponsored medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability insurance and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employeeโ€™s eligible dependents. Full time employees will also receive 15 days of vacation, 12 sick days, 3 personal days and 3 volunteer days in addition to paid time off during the week between Christmas and New Years, the week of July 4th and 11 additional holidays annually.
