CIMMYT is looking for an outstanding, self-motivated, and result-oriented professional for the position of Creative Hub Manager, to lead design and content developed to advance CIMMYT\u2019s communication strategy, maintaining consistency and excellence across all materials and channels.
ย The location of this position will be at CIMMYT's headquarters in Texcoco, Mexico.
ย Specific duties:
ย Strategy
Manage the Creative Hub operational plan aligned with CIMMYT\u2019s mission, vision, and strategic goals to build reputation and maximize the policy and development impact of its research across the main target regions Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Execute donor communications plans with the donor relations and fundraising services team as part of donors\u2019 cultivation plans. Coordinate with the communications team to manage activities related to CGIAR Communications where and as needed.ย Provide input into Chapter strategy and operational plan. Keep apprised of the latest communication trends and technologies, ensuring that the organization is using the most effective tools and strategies. Manage workflows, including project scoping, prioritization, and scheduling, to ensure timely execution of all requirements.ย Creative Hub
Ensure consistent brand expression and powerful visuals through creative services. Manage and develop the creation of high-quality content for various channels, including internal communications, executive communications, websites, social media, email, and publications. Coordinate communication services from internal and external teams, including designers, writers, editors, and translation services, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Manage the Communications Service Catalog through CIMMYT ticketing system. Apply editorial policies and procedures, in line with C&O global policies and procedures. Translate CIMMYT\u2019s mission and projects in concrete, tangible storylines with high human interest. Contribute to CGIAR publishing as required. Guarantee that the company's brand voice is consistent across all regions and communication channels.ย Media Relations

Coordinate with Regional Communications Managers to execute communications plans to maximize resources and ensure consistent brand expression and powerful visuals through creative services in all regions where CIMMYT has presence.ย Administration
Manage workflow and plans of the Creative Hub area and ensure all output and deliverables are produced cost-efficiently and according to predetermined timelines guaranteeing internal clients\u2019 satisfaction. Manage a global roster of cost- efficient, high-quality freelance editors, translators, designers, web programmers and other specialists. Mentor and empower the Creative Hub team to pursue innovative approaches and set demanding metrics for engagement that deliver results in a fast-changing, competitive external communications environment and build the organization\u2019s brand. Develop and monitor the budget for the area, ensuring resources are allocated effectively. Conduct recruiting and onboarding processes to expand the team as needed. Promote the correct application of values and behaviors among the team, to promote CIMMYT\u2019s culture in the Unit.Requirements
Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in communications, marketing, design, journalism or a related field. 4 to 5 years of experience in Communications, with a strong emphasis in internal communications, media relations management, campaign execution, social and digital communications with a strong creative portfolio.ย Strong knowledge of media outlets, journalists, content development, advocacy, media, writing, editing, and translation. Leadership experience in managing creative teams or hubs. Proficiency in digital content management systems, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in nonprofit or international development contexts is preferred. Experience of managing internal communication channels: newsletters, intranet, e-mails and other suitable platforms. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines effectively. Exceptional written and verbal English skills, with the ability to convey complex messages clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences (C1).
