Work LocationGaza, Remotely Expected duration6 to 11 months Duties and Responsibilities• Analyze business requirements, provide possible solutions, and develop data models accordingly. • Develop multi-dimensional models according to business requirements compatible with warehouse standards. • Design and develop OLAP Databases using SSAS database objects. • Develop ETL packages. • Design and develop reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using MS Power BI. • Configure and deploy ETLs and Cubes. • Create and maintain documentation that includes design, requirements, and user manuals. • Performs other related duties as required. Qualifications/special skillsAcademic Qualifications: A university degree or master's degree from an accredited educational institution in information technology, information management, Information systems, computer science, computer engineering, Software engineering, Business Administration, Management, or other related disciplines; Experience: • A minimum of 4 years’ work experience for a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years for a master's degree of progressive experience as a senior Business Intelligence developer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on SSAS, SSIS, ETLs, Cubes, Power BI, DAX, and MDX. • Proven experience in developing and maintaining reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and connecting to OLAP cubes or any other data sources. • Experience in designing and creating cubes for complex business requirements. • Experience in writing DAX and MDX expressions for Microsoft Analysis Services. • Experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence Architecture. • Previous experience as an ETL developer with strong data architecture knowledge around data warehousing concepts. • Experience with SQL Server databases as developer. • Fluency in written and spoken English is required. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS • Knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, Visual Studio, etc. • Experience in data preparation, data gateway and data warehousing projects. • Familiarity with ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS, and other JavaScript libraries. Language: • Good command of spoken and written English. CONDITIONS OF SERVICE • The duration of the consultancy is 6 to 11 months, extendable according to performance and availability of funds. • Remuneration for this consultancy will be 1,490.30 USD, and it will depend on the consultant's qualifications and experience. • The incumbent will be based in Gaza. Languages• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
