Scope of Work for Consultant: Risk and Compliance Investigation Consultant (OIG Experience Required) Objective: The objective of this consultancy is to support Winrock International in organizing, guiding, and conducting investigations, as well as ensuring timely completion and processing of Office of Inspector General (OIG) reports. This includes documenting and organizing files for current and future investigations, with the flexibility to adjust workload and completing and processing OIG reports and internal reports to the Ethics Committee, Executive Team and/or Winrockโs Board of Directors. International travel will be required for this consultancy. Scope of Work: Conduct Investigations: Organize, guide, and conduct investigations. Gather evidence, interview relevant parties, and document findings in accordance with established procedures and protocols. Documentation and File Organization: Document and organize files for ongoing and future investigations, ensuring all relevant information is accurately recorded and stored. Maintain confidentiality and security of investigative materials and information. Report Completion and Processing: As issues are reported through the hotline or staff, if relevant, draft OIG summary paragraph to be shared with Ethics and Compliance committee. Once approved, upload to OIG website. Prepare OIG reports detailing investigative findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Ensure reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to established deadlines and quality standards. Identify any outstanding investigation reports and utilizing data and documents in the files, write the final investigation reports to be submitted to the OIG. Assist in the processing of OIG reports, including distribution to appropriate stakeholders and tracking of follow-up actions. Work Hours and Travel: Commit to working 40 hours per week initially, with the flexibility to adjust hours as needed to meet project demands. Be prepared for travel as necessary to conduct investigations and gather relevant information. Travel requirements will vary depending on the nature and scope of each investigation but will likely require travel outside of the United States. Deliverables: Investigative Reports: Complete investigative reports in accordance with established guidelines and deadlines. Documented Investigation Files: Maintain organized and comprehensive files for ongoing and future investigations, ensuring all relevant documentation is appropriately stored and accessible. Timely Completion of Work: Adhere to project timelines and deadlines, ensuring all work is completed in a timely manner. 4 . Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility in adjusting work hours and travel arrangements to accommodate project needs and priorities.
