Through IWMI Ghana, CIP is conducting endline household, adult, and community surveys as part of the GROWING project (\u201cGenerating Revenues & Opportunities for Women to Improve Nutrition in Ghana\u201d).

The selected candidate will be responsible for collecting accurate household, adult, and community-level data using digital tools such as tablets and ODK. They will also collect consumer data from designated markets through digital platforms. The role includes assisting in locating assigned households, identifying reference individuals (women or men) to conduct interviews, maintaining positive relationships with community members, and collaborating effectively with project and survey teams.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate fully in all training activities. Report on time each day to receive assignments from field supervisors. Identify and conduct interviews with assigned households, adults, and community leaders. Visit selected markets to carry out consumer awareness surveys. Submit collected data in accordance with specified protocols. Report any missing respondents promptly and follow the supervisor\u2019s instructions. Ensure timely submission of all required survey forms on a daily basis.

Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Essential:

Higher National Diploma (HND), Bachelor\u2019s degree, or equivalent qualification. Minimum of one year of experience in fieldwork and/or data collection. Experience in climate-smart agriculture, nutrition, gender, marketing data collection, or similar fields will be an advantage.

Desirable:

Prior experience with the GROWING baseline and monitoring survey will be considered an added advantage.

Ability to walk long distances and willingness to work on weekends, if required.

Desirable:

Familiarity with computers or Android smartphones and ODK, with a willingness to learn and use digital tools.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:

Fluency in at least one local language (Dagbani, Mampruli, Gonja, Likpakpa, Chekosi, Tampruma, or Fula), along with good proficiency in English.

*Candidates must currently reside in one of the six target districts which are East Mamprusi, Chereponi, North Gonja, West Gonja, Saboba, Gusheguย or have accommodation in the preferred district of work.
