Work LocationGaza Expected duration6 to11 months Duties and Responsibilities• Perform business analysis for the Job Creation Programme (JCP) project, following up on business requests throughout the software development life cycle, including design, implementation, • Prepare business documentation to capture user requirements, functional specifications, and process workflows. • Proactively communicate with business counterparts to ensure requirements/ specifications are captured comprehensively. • Communicate the need for fixes and changes to ITSC technical teams and follow up to implementation. • Undertake testing of delivered fixes/changes against requirements and provide feedback. • Support end-user acceptance testing of changes/fixes. • Provide end-user support. • Assist in the preparation of instruction manuals and other documentation. • Assist in developing training material and training trainers for applications. • Perform other duties as required. Qualifications/special skillsAcademic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Information Technology, Information Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or related disciplines. Experience: • Minimum 4 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3 years with a master’s degree in Business Analysis or IT Applications development. Desirable Qualifications • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) and DevOps tools such as Microsoft DevOps, BMC Helix, ServiceNow, or similar platforms. Service Conditions: ● The duration of the consultancy is 6 to 11 months, extendable according to performance and availability of funds. ● Remuneration for this consultancy will be USD 1,490.30 plus 8.33% advanced termination indemnity, depending on fund availability, qualifications, and relevant experience. The Digital Impact, Technology, and Innovation Department (DITID) is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting IT solutions to streamline business processes. Key Agency Systems: • Job Creation Programme (JCP): Supports temporary employment opportunities for Palestine refugees, including workflows for applications, assignments, and payments. • Community Accountability System (CAS): Enables feedback, complaints, and accountability processes between refugees and the Agency, ensuring transparency and responsiveness. • Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) System: Facilitates case management, referrals, and service tracking for beneficiaries requiring psychosocial and mental health support. Position Role: • Contribute to the analysis, documentation, testing, and support of JCP, CAS, and MHPSS systems, ensuring business requirements are accurately translated into system improvements. • Work under the supervision of the Head of ITSC, collaborating with team members and business counterparts to implement fixes, enhancements, and reporting solutions across field-level systems.
