DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The WMO HydroHub, created in 2017 with Swiss Agency for Development and Coopeartion (SDC) support, strengthens global water monitoring through innovation and multiโ€‘stakeholder collaboration. Phase I improved the availability of hydrometeorological data for better waterโ€‘related decisionโ€‘making. Phase II (2021โ€“2026) builds on this foundation by advancing innovation and supporting national services to enhance hydrological services for risk reduction, development, and environmental protection. Two external evaluations were planned: a midโ€‘term review completed in 2023 and a final evaluation. The final evaluation will assess project progress from 2021โ€“2026 and provide an overall assessment of both phases.
