Purpose of consultancy:

The Digital Giving Consultant will work to implement the UNFPA Individual and Digital Giving Programme, expanding the portfolio of individuals donating to UNFPA and progressively increasing resources coming through gifts from the general public. In this position, the Consultant will work to strategize, qualify, cultivate, and solicit prospective donors, building a solid pipeline of one-time, recurring donors and major gifts. The incumbent will have extensive specific expertise and experience in digital fundraising and direct response marketing, including experience in developing and managing large-scale digital fundraising campaigns. S/he will provide vision and leadership for UNFPA in this fast-moving area and will be responsible for driving the growth and integration of digital fundraising and engagement in UNFPA. The Consultant will work on deploying and optimizing fundraising appeals aimed at recruiting new supporters, stewarding existing donors with a focus on enhancing their lifetime value and experience. S/he will also oversee the management of the UNFPA Corporate Donate platform.

The Digital Giving Consultant will be located in the Private Sector and Civil Society Branch (PSCSB). S/he will work under the direct supervision of the Chief, Private Sector and Civil Society Branch, which leads organization-wide efforts to forge partnerships and resource mobilization to obtain new and innovative resources in support of the implementation of UNFPAโ€™s operations.
