Mission and objectivesIn a world of 8 billion, we advocate for equal rights and opportunities for all. UNFPA began working in Türkiye in 1971. Since then, UNFPA has collaborated with the Government of Türkiye to enhance demographic resilience and advance human capital by improving the lives of women and girls, youth and people in vulnerable situations by; -Promoting women’s rights and health including safe motherhood, -Empowering women and young people, and -Strengthening protection efforts, including the prevention of violence against women and girls, across both development and humanitarian settings, so that every girl and young person can realize their full potential and lead healthy and productive lives. UNFPA in Türkiye is currently implementing its 8th Country Programme for 2026 - 2030 which is a key partnership framework with the Government of Türkiye to support and accelerate Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and national development priorities through data-driven and evidence-based programmes and policies to build a more resilient, equitable, and prosperous society. UNFPA cooperates with a wide range of sectors and actors, from public and private institutions to civil society and academia, and from international organizations to media and celebrities.

ContextUNV is looking for passionate and creative Online Volunteers who can think out of the box with graphic design and content creation skills to amplify the voice of UNFPA’s 8 March International Women’s Day campaign in Türkiye. Aligned with the global UN theme, this year, the campaign will be developed under “Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls” motto to demand equal rights and justice in all spheres of life.

Task DescriptionOnline Volunteers will collaborate with the UNFPA’s Communications Team in Türkiye to: -Assist in generating a communications campaign to mark 8 March International Women’s Day. -Develop creative ideas and assist in producing both written and multi-media content such as infographics, photo posts, photo stories, videos, human interest stories, web articles, online quizzes, polls --and other creative comms materials to increase the impact of the campaign and disseminate the key messages -Contribute with innovative ideas to further amplify the voice of the campaign on social media platforms. -Design visibility and promotional materials for the campaign such as posters, factsheets, leaflets, billboards, roll-ups etc. -Provide video and photography edit support. -Assist in localizing global content that will be conveyed by HQ and Regional Office. Expected Deliverables -Generation of creative visibility and communications ideas especially for social media -Design of all the necessary visual assets, visibility materials and videos -Drafting of visual messages and captions as well as web articles and human interest stories -Translation of all communications assets from Turkish to English, vice versa -Timely follow-up the implementation and impacts of the social media posts and reporting of the results
